A good general-purpose tool is Postman.
It works well for testing OAuth-secured APIs because it supports:
- OAuth 1.0 and OAuth 2.0
- Authorization code, client credentials, password, and refresh token flows
- Token handling and renewal
- Sending authenticated requests quickly
Other solid options:
- Insomnia — lightweight and developer-friendly
- curl — great for scripting and automation
- Swagger UI / OpenAPI tools — if your API has an OpenAPI spec
- Hoppscotch — browser-based and simple
If you want the easiest all-around GUI tool, I’d recommend Postman. If you want, I can also show you how to configure OAuth in Postman for your specific API flow.
